About

MotionMuse is an NSFW image-to-video generator. You upload a still, pick a motion template, and it animates it — and alongside that it does image editing and a second pass called Extend Video, which continues an existing clip rather than starting a new one.

The workflow is template-led rather than prompt-led. Templates are browsable, tagged and credited to the users who made them, and each one carries the model it runs on. Generation quality is versioned: templates are marked v1.5 and tagged with the model, currently MMModel 1.5, so the library is not uniform — a template built on an older model behaves differently from one built on the current one. Tags like POV, eye contact and realistic do the filtering that a prompt would do elsewhere.

Clips run 10, 15 or 20 seconds depending on what you pick — longer than most template-led generators manage, and long enough that the 30-credit price per generation matters more than it would for a three-second loop.

Everything is metered in credits, and the rates are worth knowing before you pick a plan. A video generation costs 30 credits. An image edit costs 5. That ratio is the whole economics of the tool: the cheapest plan's 300 monthly credits are ten videos, or sixty image edits, and there is no way to convert between them other than by choosing what to spend on.

Paid plans are Basic, Pro and Premium. All three unlock the full template library and all three include the AI training tools, so what separates them is throughput rather than access: how many credits a month, how many generations you can queue at once, and how cheaply you can top up when you run out. Free accounts can browse but start at zero credits.

MotionMuse also has an undress feature, priced the same as an image edit at 5 credits. As with everything else you upload, the consent question sits with you — see the limitations below.

If you are comparing this against Playbox, read the pricing section carefully. The two publish the same tiers, the same credit allowances and the same top-up rates, and the difference is in how they let you pay.

Pricing

Billed monthly, as shown on the subscription page on 2026-09-17. At 30 credits a video that works out at $1.00 per video on Basic, $0.60 on Pro and $0.50 on Premium — so the expensive plan is the cheap one per clip, which is the opposite of how it reads. Playbox publishes the identical three tiers with identical credits and top-up rates, but sells them annually at half price: Playbox Basic works out at $0.50 a video, the same rate MotionMuse charges at its $49.99 tier.

Is it for you?

Who it's for

  • Animating stills where the motion you want already exists as a template
  • Extending a clip you have rather than regenerating it from scratch
  • Volume work — Pro and Premium are where the per-video cost stops hurting
  • Anyone who would rather filter a tagged library than learn to write prompts

Who it's not for

  • Precise direction — the template library is the vocabulary, and there is no free-text route to a motion that is not in it
  • Casual or occasional use: Basic is ten videos a month at a dollar each
  • Anyone who wants to pay annually, which this page does not offer

Limitations

  1. The same plans cost half as much on Playbox

Playbox lists the same three tiers — Basic, Pro, Premium — with the same 300, 1,500 and 3,000 monthly credits, the same 3, 10 and 15 concurrent generations, and the same 300, 500 and 600 credits per $10 top-up rate. Its monthly prices are also identical at $9.99, $29.99 and $49.99. The difference is that Playbox sells an annual plan at half price and MotionMuse, as shown on its subscription page, bills monthly only. If you are willing to commit for a year, the same allowances are available for half the money elsewhere.

  2. A video costs 30 credits, and Basic gives you 300

Ten videos a month on the entry plan, at a dollar each. Top-ups are the same rate — $10 for 300 credits, another ten videos — so Basic has no volume discount at all. Pro drops it to $0.60 a video and Premium to $0.50. The plan that looks like the safe way to try this is the worst value per clip.

  3. The template library is versioned, and not evenly

Templates carry a version badge and a model tag, currently v1.5 and MMModel 1.5. A library that is updated daily and spans model generations is not a library where every template performs the same, and the badge is the only signal you get before spending 30 credits.

  4. Consent is left to you, including for the undress feature

You upload the source image, and the tool applies motion or edits to whatever you give it — including an undress transform at 5 credits. Nothing in the upload step establishes that the person in the photo agreed to any of it. Using an image of a real person who has not consented is not a grey area; it is the thing this category of tool gets used for and the reason it attracts the scrutiny it does.
